Grief is many things

Grief can be overwhelming and is often described as intense sadness, but it can also manifest as anger, guilt, anxiety, or loneliness.

Grief can also be physical, causing fatigue, changes in appetite and sleep patterns, and even headaches. While grief is a natural response to loss, it can be challenging.

Grief is not linear; there will be good days and bad days. Somedays, the grief will sneak up on you. The pain can be immense, and it may feel like it will never go away.

Grieving is a process that looks different for everyone.

Some find solace in talking about their grief with others, while others prefer to process it privately. There is no “right” or “wrong” way through it.
