When your past tries to come back to haunt you
Not too long ago, a series of events unfolded that reminded me of a past I’d left behind.
A past I’ve reconciled with. One I’ve sought forgiveness for from God and moved on from.
A past for which I no longer live in shame and regret and instead live in the light.

Has this ever happened to you? Just when you thought you were starting a fresh new life, your past came back to haunt you. A tap on the shoulder reminds you of something you worked so hard to move away from.
- An addiction you were freed from tries to pull you back in.
- A person who once had power over you appears back into your life.
- A mistake you made years ago is brought up again unexpectedly.
The enemy wants to pull us back under the veil of shame, doubt, deceit, and dread. It’s easy to get sucked back into the drama sometimes.
