Whether you’re struggling to forgive someone else or wondering if God has really forgiven you, here are 20 of the most impactful bible verses about God’s forgiveness in the Bible.

Perhaps you struggle to forgive yourself for something you’ve done.

Maybe it goes darker than simply unforgiveness. Perhaps you suffer from anger, hate, or thoughts of revenge.

The Bible has much to say about God’s incredible forgiveness towards each of us and what our posture of forgiveness should be towards those who hurt us.

I’ve split up the 20 Bible verses about forgiveness between the two categories mentioned above, but a few Bible verses are repeated on purpose. This is because God’s law works in tandem, as you see from verses Matthew 6:14-15 and Ephesians 4:32 and others.

Bible Verses About Forgiveness Towards Others
