God forgives humans and a fundamental Christian belief is that everyone can be forgiven. This means that you need to let go of any grudges if you feel someone has wronged you. If you’re struggling with forgiving someone, try to remember how Jesus forgave the men who crucified him.

Humility doesn’t mean being a doormat or meek, but greatness can come from serving other people. Remember Jesus washed feet to demonstrate the power of being humble.

Pride goes against the fundamentals of being humble. Pride is a major sin as it can lead others into sinning. While you can feel good about your accomplishments, being prideful can be extremely harmful.

Every life is special and Christians believe that it should be protected from the start to the very end. This is a key belief that influences thoughts on abortion, euthanasia, and other topics.

An important part of Christian doctrine is that there is a very real spiritual battle taking place between good and evil. It is very easy to assume that everything happens for a reason, but people often forget that there are spiritual challenges and in the Bible Christians are warned to don the “armor of God” to prepare for this warfare.

In today’s modern world, it can seem that everyone wants a piece of your paycheck, but people have forgotten that charity is an important Christian belief. Even if you have a limited budget, you can volunteer your time to help those who are less fortunate.

While having faith is vital for Christians, they must also strive to earn salvation. The aim is to show your faith through your works, so you need to demonstrate what you believe in the way you behave.

Although it is now considered the sole purview of the protest generation, taking care of the Earth has a longstanding history. There is a Christian belief that humans are chosen by God to be caretakers of the Earth. Respecting and protecting our environment is a responsibility that is often overlooked.

Grace

The concept of grace is a key tenet of Christianity. Essentially, it refers to God forgiving us of our sins and entry into heaven as a gift. Grace is not a natural characteristic of humans, which is why God’s grace is so powerful. Some people find this concept difficult to understand, but it can help you to strengthen your relationship with God.

Many people understand that the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit is a central part of belief. But the role of the holy spirit is often forgotten or overlooked. The holy spirit has a crucial role in empowering believers and guiding us with its presence.

While you may be aware that sin can separate us from God, you may not have realized that it can also damage your human relationships. Sin can not only cause us to lose interest in our faith, but it can also reduce our compassion for others. The only way to counter this is to practice forgiveness and reconciliation.

All around the world, we can see disagreements between Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptists, and other sects. While these denominations feel that they are completely different, Jesus prayed for unity among all Christian believers. Although there may be differences in doctrine, we are all still Christians and should feel a kinship with other denominations.

The term “social justice” has become a catch-all term for ridicule by internet busybodies, but it is an often forgotten Christian belief. It refers to focusing on society’s problems and encouraging fair treatment, particularly for those who are excluded. Jesus often helped the poor and those who were ostracized from society unfairly.

Prayer in Christianity is more than simply repeating words, it is having a sincere interaction with God. Prayer is a powerful tool to bring peace, particularly in times of spiritual struggles. We can ask God for anything good and then look for signs that He is guiding us.
